This large walling hammer forms a broad, densely covered colony with strongly extended polyps across its continuous structure. Its curled and branching hammer-shaped tentacle tips fluoresce vivid green, creating clear definition throughout the specimen.
The green tips contrast sharply against black stems and deep shadowed tissue, giving the colony a pronounced two-tone appearance. Tentacles vary from short hooked ends to longer sweeping curves, with particularly dense extension through the centre and lower portion of the photographed coral.
