The Purple Wave Branching Hammer is a substantial specimen with full, fleshy polyps and a distinctive purple and pale yellow-to-gold gradient. Its rounded hammer-style tentacle tips create a densely textured canopy, with cooler violet tones contrasting against softly luminous cream-gold colouring.
This large branching hammer is currently splitting to form two heads, giving it an established shape with clear growth underway. The branching structure makes it well suited to display as an individual feature coral while leaving room around the expanding polyps. Its broad tentacle tips provide the characteristic swaying form and movement expected from a hammer coral, while the blended colour transition gives the colony depth rather than a flat, single-tone finish.
