Glitter Goniastrea

Glitter Goniastrea is a richly textured LPS coral frag, combining warm rust-red and earthy brown tissue with contrasting turquoise-green highlights. Fine flecks scattered across the surface create the glitter-like character behind its working name, while the closely packed corallites form a substantial, ridged profile.

Its varied pigmentation gives the colony depth, with brighter green accents tracing portions of the structure and cooler blue-green tones emerging around several polyp centres. The fleshy polyps sit tightly together, producing a dense, encrusting appearance that works well for adding colour and texture among other LPS corals. Allow sensible clearance from neighbouring livestock to accommodate normal Goniastrea expansion and feeding behaviour.
