This Natural Chimera Trachyphyllia is an ultra-rare piece formed from two individual Trachyphyllias naturally fused together at the bone. The contrasting halves create an exceptional joined structure, with one side displaying intense fluorescent green tissue and warm yellow-orange accents, while the other carries deep purple and burgundy tones crossed by vivid orange striping.
Both sections retain the broad, fleshy mantle and deeply folded ridges associated with Trachyphyllia, yet each has its own distinct colour and pattern. Their natural skeletal fusion makes this far more than two corals placed side by side: it is a genuinely unusual single specimen with dramatic contrast across the meeting point. Allow suitable room for the fleshy tissue to expand without rubbing against neighbouring rockwork or corals.
