Pink Lash Alveopora

This photographed Alveopora forms a compact cluster of open, flower-like polyps. Each polyp shows a rich green centre surrounded by fine green tentacles, creating a neatly radial structure across the colony.

The light pink lashes appear as rounded tips around each polyp, giving clear contrast against the darker green centres and shadowed spaces between the heads. Polyp extension varies slightly across the specimen, with many heads fully presented and others partially tucked among the denser growth. Under the photographed blue-toned illumination, the green tissue reads strongly while the pale pink tips form a soft, repeated ring pattern.
