Fish Delivery Information
All fish are kept at CoralVault for a minimum of two weeks
before they are made available for delivery. During this time,
they go through our observation, feeding and treatment process.
Every fish is carefully packed for overnight delivery.
Shipping can be stressful for live fish, so we always recommend
using a suitable quarantine system before adding any new fish
to your main aquarium.
In the unlikely event of a fish arriving deceased, clear photos
and a video must be sent to us within one hour of the delivery
being completed. The delivery must also have been accepted on
the courier's first delivery attempt.
You are welcome to contact us on WhatsApp before ordering for
current videos, close-up footage or videos showing the fish
eating.
Please research the fish's adult size, temperament,
feeding needs and compatibility before ordering. Reef-safe
information is a general guide, as behaviour can vary between
individual fish.
The Powder Blue Tang is one of the most recognisable and sought-after tangs in the marine aquarium hobby. Its powder-blue body, black facial markings, white chest and bright yellow fin make it a standout addition to a large reef aquarium.
A highly active fish, the Powder Blue Tang needs plenty of open swimming space alongside established rockwork where it can graze and retreat when needed. Its diet should contain plenty of marine algae and seaweed, supported by a varied mix of quality frozen and prepared marine foods. In the wild, this species mainly grazes on benthic algae.
Powder Blue Tangs are generally considered reef safe and should leave corals alone. However, they can become territorial, particularly towards other tangs or fish with a similar body shape. Care should be taken when choosing tank mates, and they are best added to a mature, stable aquarium.
This is a more demanding species that can be sensitive to stress and changes in water quality. We recommend it for experienced marine fishkeepers with a suitably large aquarium, strong water movement and good oxygen levels.
