Red Goniopora

Red Goniopora are prized for their vibrant colouration and elegant polyp extension. Each polyp forms a small daisy-like structure with deep red tentacles radiating around a bright orange oral disc, giving the coral a fiery, almost glowing appearance under blue reef lighting.

When fully extended, the polyps create a dense field of movement that adds texture and life to the reef aquarium. The rich red tones stand out strongly against surrounding greens, blues, and purples, making Red Goniopora a natural focal point in LPS gardens, mixed reefs, or dedicated Goniopora collections.

The combination of bold coloration and constant flowing motion makes this coral especially eye-catching in areas of gentle to moderate flow where the polyps can fully expand and sway with the current.
