Tangerine St. Thomas Mushroom

Bright orange polyps cover the surface in a loose but consistent spread, each one shaped with short branching arms that give a slightly jagged texture across the disk. Beneath them, the base shows a strong green coloration with soft radial streaks extending outward from the center. The contrast between the orange polyps and green disk is clear, especially where the polyps thin slightly and expose more of the underlying surface. The center sits slightly raised with a visible mouth, surrounded by a smoother zone where the radial pattern becomes more defined. Toward the outer edge, the polyps become denser and more layered, forming a thicker border. The overall structure combines a textured outer layer with a more open, patterned inner disk, making the color separation easy to distinguish.
