This Large Pink Wall Hammer Coral forms an impressive, continuous sweep of fleshy polyps across its walling skeleton. Its densely packed tentacles carry dusky pink to mauve tones, finished with paler pink hammer-shaped tips that stand out particularly well under blue-spectrum reef lighting.
The broad, well-expanded colony creates plenty of texture and natural movement, giving it a substantial presence within an established LPS display. As a walling hammer, its polyps grow along a continuous skeletal ridge rather than forming separate branching heads. Allow suitable clearance from neighbouring corals, as hammer corals can extend sweeper tentacles and may sting nearby livestock. This is a large specimen, best accommodated where its expanded tissue has room to move without rubbing against rockwork or other corals.
