The Toxic Pom-Pom Branching Hammer is a distinctive branching hammer coral defined by its intense fluorescent green colour and unusually long polyps. Thick, extended tentacles create a full, rounded crown, with pale green hammer-shaped tips standing out against the deeper olive-to-purple tones along the stems.
Its elongated polyps give the colony a looser, more flowing character than many compact hammers, while the dense arrangement of tips retains the classic pom-pom effect suggested by its working name. Allow suitable clearance from neighbouring corals so the fleshy polyps have room to extend safely. This is a WYSIWYG specimen, so the branching hammer offered is the exact coral pictured.
