This Blue Alveopora stands out with its crisp flower-like polyps in radiant shades of sky blue and icy white. Each polyp is shaped like a daisy, with soft waving tentacles that give the colony a natural, flowing motion. The symmetrical pattern and subtle fluorescence make it a striking addition to any reef aquascape.
Alveopora are often compared to Goniopora but are typically easier to care for and less demanding. This coral thrives in low to moderate flow and moderate lighting where it can open fully and sway with the current. The Blue Alveopora is best placed in mid to lower rockwork and will benefit from occasional feedings with fine coral foods to support long-term health and extension.
Its peaceful nature makes it suitable for mixed reefs, and it pairs beautifully with other soft-moving LPS for a balanced visual effect.
