This green Goniopora displays a dense cluster of extended polyps, each carried on a long, fleshy stalk. The vivid green tissue runs from the base through the polyp columns, while the open heads form a layered, flower-like canopy across the photographed specimen.
Light purple lashes surround the centre of each head, producing a cool-toned contrast against the green body. The tentacles vary slightly in length and curl naturally at their tips, giving the colony a soft, textured appearance. Several heads are fully open, with others overlapping through the centre and lower edge of the coral.
