Teal Goniastrea Frag

This Teal Goniastrea frag combines cool teal-green tones with darker burgundy-brown centres and margins. Its tightly grouped, fleshy corallites form a dense pattern across the frag, with ridged skeletal structure adding texture and definition between each individual mouth.

The contrasting colour palette works particularly well under blue-spectrum reef lighting, where the teal areas take on a brighter turquoise cast while the deeper centres remain rich and subdued. As an encrusting large-polyp stony coral, Goniastrea can develop into a compact, textured colony over time. Allow sensible clearance from neighbouring corals to accommodate its natural territorial behaviour as it settles and grows. A characterful frag for adding layered colour and structure to an LPS display.
